More Submissions to Top 50 Biblioblogs

If my blogroll were up-to-date, it would have most everyone to be found on Bryan Bibb’s blogroll. Below the fold, two bloggers on Bibb’s list that belong on the master list of Jim West and his minions.

The master list, if it is going to have any credibility, cannot be a matter of caprice. In the good ol’ days, Jim West could leave off anyone he chose from his blogroll. Not anymore. He’s our minion now.

You indirectly reveal the problem with blog-rolls. One can 1) spend a lot of time refining and trimming one's list so it is a good resource at any given moment, 2) add new names as they come up without trimming any old ones so that the list grows long and unwieldy, or 3) let the list grow stagnant and out-of-date relative to one's own reading or to who is currently posting regularly.

Clearly the first of these is the best, with the second having its own charm. The last one is the easiest, and alas the most common.

Posts like yours highlighting certain sites are important, and the ones listed here are more than worthy of our attention. Thank you.
