That’s the motto of the company my son
Giovanni, 17 years old yesterday, started with a friend. See his business card
below.
I have a theory that our children become what
we wished to have become. Some part of us, large or small. My Dad, for example, is a wannabe pastor who instead
wasted his life – so it seemed to him half the time – in the cut-and-sew
business. The thing he liked most about having his own business was the chance
it gave him to hire ex-cons out of prison he came to know from being involved
in Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship. ‘Course he made a lot of money that way.
But when his oldest son became a pastor, he
came all the way to Italy for the ordination. It was like he was being ordained,
not me.
I’m proud to see Giovanni put art and
technology together. The art he gets from his Grandma, who has a Master of Fine
Arts degree.

Congratulations, John. It's a great theory - one I'll have think about for my boys!
Is BHP one of your projects?

Giovanni did do the design on this blog (AHP). And he is launching another one, BHP indeed, for SBL.
Gio has been on my case to switch away from typepad for a long time. He can't do what he wants with the blog at the prices we are paying. But typepad has been perfectly stable for me, and fellow bloggers with wordpress seem to have to deal with crashes that would drive me crazy.
But of course, I don't know what I'm talking about. It's all Greek to me.

I'm doing some custom client work on Typepad as well and I understand Giovanni's frustration! But the stability and support are why my client chose Typepad as well, so you make your recommendation and go with what they ask...
